Canada Visa Requirements:

1. Current Passport ( well condition and must valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from Canada) duly signed by the applicant
2. Previously issued passport and copy of ALL ISSUED visa (Valid & expired) and all pages of the passport showing travel stamped
3. Application Form – IMM5257, IMM5645, Use of Representative, VFS Consent Form
4. 1 RECENT passport sized photographs with white background
5. Proof of Employment
   • • If employed:
       • Employment Certificate (stating the position, tenures and Salary)
       • Approved Leave of Absences
       • ITR (Income Tax and Return)
     • If owned business:
       • Complete Business registration name (Mayor’s Permit, SEC/DTI Registration, DTI)
       • Company ITR & FS
     • If retiree:
       • Copy of Senior Citizen ID
       • Proof of retirement from previous employment
6. Proof of Sufficient Funds
   • • Bank Certificate (address to EMBASSY OF CANADA, Manila  – Levels 6-8, Tower 2, RCBC Plaza 6819 Ayala Avenue Makati City 1200)
     • Bank Statement or Scanned copy of Passbook covering the last 6months transaction
     • Statement of Account/Credit card Statement (for the last 3 months)
7. Other proof of assets (if applicable)
   • • Land Title,
     • Car Registration
8. Authenticated Birth Certificate issued by (NSO/SECPA)
9. Authenticated Marriage Certificate issued by (NSO/SECPA), if married
10. If invited: Invitation Letter stating:
    • • purpose of visit,
      • duration,
      • nature of relationship and
      • contact details of invitee  AND Proof of Citizenship (copy of passport / certificate of citizenship / Resident card AND Proof of address in Canada)
11. If sponsored by someone: Letter of Support (Statutory Declaration)  AND Proof of funds from the sponsor (pay slip , Bank Certificate, Employment Certificate stating salary, tenures and position (if employed), copy of business registration (if owned business)
12. If Student, Cert from School as a proof of enrolment + Copy of Student ID
13. If minor:
    • • Authenticated Birth Certificate of the Minor
      • Authenticated Marriage Certificate of the Parents
      • Affidavit of Support from Parents
      • Visa of Traveling Companion
14. If not Traveling with either of the parents:
    • • DSWD Clearance
      • Affidavit of Support and Consent
15. Fee – Php 13,000 includes the Visa Fee, Biometrics Fee and the Processing fee

Other fees like courier fee, and other services required by the VFS are not included.

File Name: BUSINESS REGISTRATION

File Name: TRAVEL HISTORY

• File includes your previous passports and/or visas (used within the last 10 years to travel outside your country) entry and exit stamps, expired or valid visas

 

File Name: PASSPORT

• File includes the clear copy of the biodata page of your current passport

 

File name: INVITATION LETTER

• File includes the Invitation Letter, Copy of Passport or any proof of immigration status of the host in Canada, his proof of address, his proof of financial means. You must provide a letter of invitation from the person inviting you to Canada. The letter must be written by the host and should have specific information about the host and invitee. The letter should state the purpose and length of the visit, the nature of the relationship between you and the host, the contact information of the host, etc.

File Name: Purpose of Travel

Any documents that will support the purpose of your visit such as

• Tentative Flight Booking,
• Hotel Booking,
• Day-to-day itinerary
• Endorsement Letter from Local Company
• Approved Leave to Travel from the company

File Name: Proof of relationship

Documents that explain the applicant’s relationship with the host

• Applicant PSA issued Birth Certificate,
• Applicant PSA issued Marriage Certificate,
• PSA issued Birth Certificate of the Host in Canada

File Name: Client Information

• A letter addressed to the Canadian Embassy explaining the purpose of visit to Canada, his/her profile, background about the host, travel history etc. any info that may help in his/her application (OPTIONAL) may be included by the applicant.

 

Each applicant must have a personal email address that will be used throughout the application process. It is essential that the email address is active and valid. The Canadian Embassy will communicate all updates on the status of the visa application directly with the applicant through the applicant’s email address.

 

From the time your biometrics requirements have been submitted, you will have to wait a minimum 47 working days for your visa to be processed.
